Eligibility
Who Can Apply?
- Local residents of Jharsuguda district.
- Persons with a minimum literacy; preferably matriculate (Class 10 pass).
- Teachers (including retired teachers).
- Retired government servants and senior citizens.
- Anganwadi workers.
- Doctors/Physicians.
- Students and law students (until they enroll as lawyer).
- Members of non-political, service-oriented NGOs and clubs.
- Members of women neighbourhood groups, Maithri Sanghams, self-help groups (including marginalized/vulnerable groups).
- Educated prisoners with good behaviour serving long term sentences.
- Any other person whom the DLSA deems fit for the role.
Disqualification Criteria
- Lack of interest in the scheme.
- Adjudged insolvent.
- Accused of any offence.
- Physical or mental incapacity.
- Abuse of position/misconduct affecting public interest.
- Active political enthusiast of a political party.
Applicants must possess a capacity for overall comprehension and willingness to work as per DLSA directives.
