Educational Qualification:
- Level-2 (Group 'C'): 12th (+2) pass or equivalent with at least 50% marks (relaxations as described above), or 10th pass with NAC/ITI approved by NCVT.
- Level-1 (Erstwhile Group 'D'): 10th pass from ITI or equivalent, or NAC granted by NCVT.

- Active membership in Scouts & Guides is mandatory.
- Should have participated in at least two events at the National Level or All-India Railways’ level and two events at the State level.
